Dr Chuang was invited to visit CIGIT as a visiting scholar in 2014. On April 28th 2014, Dr chuang provided a talk titling by “Super-resolution microscopy” and introduced his studies in the fields of light microscope as well as the applications. The report focused on the principles and series of the research results, and was got a warm interaction between the participator and speaker.

     In 2011 Chin-Jung Chuang (Stephen) received his PhD in the University of Nottingham in the UK, and then joined One of the top Optoelectronics Research Centre in Southampton as a Research Fellow, continuing the research of Novel super-resolution technique. In 2012, Dr. Chuang came back to Taiwan and serve in the NDHU as an assistant professor, leading bio-image lab until right now.
