Dr. Aliaxandr V. Sukalo, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, led a group to visit Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology (CIGIT) and exchange academic results on April 10, 2014. The members of the group included Dr. Anatoly I. Gordienko, the Director of Physical-Technical Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Dr. Alexander A. Uspenskiy, the Director of Republican Centre for Technology Transfer. Zhongxun Wang, the Assistant President and the Director of the Department of Science and Technology, and other members of CIGIT attended the meeting. During the meeting, Wang gave Dr. Aliaxandr V. Sukalo and his group a hearty welcome. Wang introduced the direction and results of scientific research of CIGIT to them. Dr. Aliaxandr V. Sukalo gave some basic information about the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Dr. Anatoly I. Gordienko talked about the scientific results of Material Science, Thin Film and Ion-Plasma Coating. And Dr. Alexander A. Uspenskiy provided data on 400 technical achievements of Republican Centre for Technology Transfer. Afterwards members of both parties had a deep exchange concerning academic problems. At the end, an agreement was reached about further cooperation in new material and environmental protection field. |
