Professor Adrian Spence visited our institute, and developed academic exchanges with researchers of CIGIT in 3th March. Dr Adrian Spence is the member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the American Chemical Society.His research interests include the biogeochemical interactions controlling the availability of trace metals in environment and the role of soil microbes in the biogeochemical cycling of carbon.He gave us a lecture of Biogeochemical interactions controlling the availability of trace metals in the environment, and Microbial-derived organic matter: Biochemical recalcitrance or physical physical protection from degradation.

Professor Yuanjian Xu of Three Gorges Institute of Ecological Environment held the symposium. Fumo Yang , Liyan Song and Shengjun Wu joined the meeting.
