In 7 May, 2012, CIGIT dean Jiahu Yuan with the team gave a report related to the institute’s establishing process to  the three gorges project construction committee under the state council . Mingshan Lei, Deputy Director of the state council three gorges project construction committee, and Yuanhua Luo in the resettlement planning division joined the meeting. Limin Ruan is in the three gorges reservoir management secretary office held the symposium.

On the meeting, Jiahu Yuan concluded the establishing process in the year, focused on infrastructure construction, talent team scientific process and others. Vice president Chao Zhan and director Zhongxun Wang explained  additional information respectively. Besides, director Guoyin Wang reported the information management of the three gorges project.

　 After the introduction, deputy director Mingshan Lei gave strong confirmation and reiterated the support for the innovated construction and technology development. He sent the wishes that the regional advantages and resources integration advantages could serve the three gorges project.

　  Other participants joined this meeting were capital planning division of three gorges office Wensheng Zhao, reservoir management division Wei Zhou, Dianchang Wang, Ye Qiao, resettlement planning division Qingyong Zhang, CIGIT vice president Chao Zhan, Guoyin Wang in CIGIT information institute, Zuquan Tang in CIGIT comprehensive office, Zhongxun Wang in CIGIT technology department and others.
