Yuan Jiahu,president of our institute ,together with  his entourage went to the University of Illinois (UIUC)  to have exchange visits on  April 23rd, also  he officially presented the letter of appointment as the Director of Strategic Advisory Committee of our  institute to Huang Xutao, who is the academician of American Academy of Engineering.

　　 In September last year, Yuan Jiahu and his entourage visited the　  Electronic Engineering College of UIUC to discuss bilateral cooperation and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation in the laboratory construction, scientific research and exchange of personnel. During communication with Professor Huang Xutao, Yuan Jiahu introduced in detail the progress and development plan made by our institute and identified the related matters to further strengthen cooperation of two sides.　 

　  Professor Huang Xutao is the academician of U.S. Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences and also the foreign academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as the father of computer vision. This time he has been appointed to be the director of the Strategic Advisory Committee of our institute to provide long-term strategic guidance for the  scientific research.
