Team

The center has 11 members, including 5 senior titles and 6 intermediate titles. The titles obtained include: "Chongqing Talents", "Chongqing Industrial Technology Leader", “The most beautiful engineer in Chongqing, Gusu innovation and entrepreneurship leading talents, "Light of the West" of Chinese Academy of Sciences, “Jinyun talent”, “Linkong talent” and so on.


Representative Research Achievement

The Center's "large-scale visual adaptive intelligent visual analysis" technology, as a key cultivation direction of the "1-3-5" plan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, passed the acceptance with "excellent" results. The team has published nearly 80 high-level papers, authorized more than 50 patents, won more than 10 international intelligent recognition competitions. Research and development technology has reached the international leading level.

 

The team undertook more than 20 key scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, including 3 key research and development projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 11 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and 1 project for each of "Hongguang", "Pioneer" and "STS" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The total funding exceeds 50 million yuan. Among the more than 30 awards for related achievements, eight were awarded at the provincial and ministerial level (including the Science and Technology Promotion Development Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences).

 

The center hosts and participates in the construction of multiple scientific research platforms, including provincial and ministerial key laboratories (Chongqing Key Laboratory of Automated Reasoning and Cognition, Chongqing Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Service Robot Control Technology, Chongqing Key Laboratory of Big Data and Intelligent Computing), provincial and ministerial engineering research Center (Chongqing Engineering Research Center of Intelligent Video Analysis), provincial and ministerial Collaborative innovation Center (Chongqing Collaborative Innovation Center of Face Recognition),  the industry cooperation platform (Joint Research Laboratory of Civil Aviation Anti Technology), Joint research and development Center of Visual security Technology, and Standard Innovation Center  ofintelligent perception provide strong support for academic research and talent training.


The center has achieved good results in technology transformation and industrialization promotion, and key technologies such as face recognition have been widely used in civil aviation, security, finance, safety supervision and other fields, with significant economic and social benefits. The security facial recognition auxiliary verification system independently developed by the team has been widely used in passenger security checks at nearly 100 airports in civil aviation, with a coverage rate of 60% in airports with a throughput of more than 10 million people. The relevant achievements deepened the cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Civil Aviation Administration. In January 2018, the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Science and the Civil Aviation Management Academy of China jointly established the Joint Research Laboratory of Civil Aviation Anti Technology, and assisted the Civil Aviation Public Security Bureau to complete the compilation of the Technical Requirements for the Application of Face Recognition Verification in Civil Aviation Safety Inspection.  In May 2019, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Civil Aviation Administration signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The achievements won the first prize of the 2017 Chongqing Industry-University Scientific Research and Technological Achievements Innovation Award, which were written into the 2018 annual Work conference report of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and won the 2018 annual Science and Technology Promotion Development Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; The relevant achievements have been reported hundreds of times on CCTV news, News of the World, Xinhua News Agency and other major news media.


Artificial assistance verification intelligent security system in all security channels of Hohhot Baita International Airport is in comprehensive trial operation. The system enables passengers to show their documents only once and "brush their faces" throughout the security clearance, which is the only full-process "brush face" security clearance system officially approved and officially operated by the Civil Aviation Administration at present. In December 2019, the system passed the acceptance of the Civil Aviation Administration, and agreed to replace the traditional verification post with manual assistant verification post, and replace the security check verification seal with digital electronic verification mark for formal operation. The North China Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration commented that the system promoted the intelligent reform of the airport security process and made a solid step on the road of smart airport construction. It is the first benchmark project since the establishment of comprehensive strategic cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Civil Aviation Administration, and it is a successful independent innovation of pure state-owned technology. This achievement was written into the "China Scientific Research Informatization Blue Book 2020", as one of the major achievements, successful experience and typical cases of scientific research informatization in China in the past two years, and was also included in the Management and Research of Scientific and Technological Achievements, a journal in charge of the Ministry of Science and Technology.


In the field of security, the intelligent access control system, human and vehicle control in key areas, intelligent security and other systems developed by our team have been applied in many government departments, communities, and public security burebureau. For example, these solutions have been demonstrated in the Nanjing Massacre memorial ceremony, the conference system and access control system of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and several prisons, border stations, long-distance bus stations, and communities in Xinjiang.


In the field of safety supervision, we use machine vision technology to achieve automatic identification of major risks and violations in coal mines, which has been demonstrated and applied in coal mines such as No. 1 Mine, Yuyang Coal Mine, Shihao Coal Mine, Fengchun Coal Mine, Songzao Coal Mine and Yanjing No. 1 Mine.


 

Through the transformation of relevant technologies, Zhongke Hongtuo (Suzhou) Intelligent Technology Co., LTD was incubated, serving more than 300 enterprises and achieving better economic and social benefits.
