Facing the major demands of national strategy “precision medicine” for “People's Life and Health”, we have developed novel single molecule nanopore sequencing and early diagnosis technology. We aim to realize medical instruments for sequencing and cancer/tumor diagnosis with nanopore technology. Our vision is built an influential research center for single molecule diagnosis technology, to serve the national strategy and improve people's health.

Team
Our research center is a cross-disciplinary research team of 19 members with capabilities of both theoretical and practical applications. The majors cover the disciplines of biology, physics, chemistry, and automation. Our teams consist of 1 professor, 8 associate professors, 8 assistant professors and 1 financial assistant with 14 provincial and ministerial talent programs/projects. The principal members hold positions on the National Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Standardization Technical Committee and serve as executive director of the Western Returned Scholars Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
