From January 5th to 8th, the "IEEE CASS Chongqing Workshop," hosted by the IEEE Circuit and Systems Society (CASS) Chongqing Group and organized by the Micro Nano Manufacturing and System Integration Research Center of Chongqing Research Institute, was grandly held in Hall 100, Building 1, Chongqing College, University of Science and Technology of China. IEEE CASS President Myung Hoon Sunwoo, former President Franco Maloberti, former President Amara Amara, IEEE CASS Asia Pacific (R10 region) representative Li Yongfu, as well as more than 40 expert professors and graduate students from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Southern University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Research Institute and other units attended the conference on site.

At the seminar, Zhao Rufa, Chairman of the IEEE CASS Chongqing Group, introduced the development of various Chongqing groups of IEEE CASS, SSCS, EMBS, EDSS, and Photonics societies. Myung Hoon Sunwood, Franco Maloberti, and Amara Amara respectively gave special reports on "Recent Advances in AI/DL and their Impact on Human Life", "The Role of Circuits and Systems for the Human Development", and "How to conduct an AI project in a humanitarian setting. In addition, Dr. Shi Xiaoyu, Associate Researcher at Chongqing Research Institute, Dr. Yin Bohua, PhD candidate, Dr. Bai Tong from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and PhD students Chen Yinuo and Li Jintian from Fudan University in Shanghai gave relevant academic presentations.

The holding of this IEEE CASS workshop has played a good role in promoting the development of IEEE CASS and other Chongqing conferences, effectively strengthening international academic exchanges among representatives of participating units in the fields of AI and circuit system chips, and expanding the international academic horizons of attending representatives and graduate students.
