On August 29, 2023, the "Intelligent Terminal Software" project, spearheaded by our academy's Big Data Center, successfully passed the acceptance smoothly. The meeting was organized by the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, attended by more than 60 individuals, including leaders from the Software Department of Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, Industrial Bureau of the Liangjiang New Area and the software special class of the Liangjiang New Area, the acceptance expert group, and project team members.
This project belongs to the national high-quality development special, is the sole successful bid nationwide in the field of intelligent terminal software. It commenced construction in July 2020. With a total investment of 170 million yuan, the project is based in the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. The project focuses on the ecological construction requirements of key software products for intelligent terminals in areas such as smart connected vehicles and IoT devices. It aims to promote the application and innovation of critical software products by establishing a collaborative research and development center and an experience promotion center and the intelligent terminal application verification environment and production and use collaborative innovation platform for typical application scenarios of key enterprises. It has become an important support for our city to create "China's famous software city".
The project has achieved high-quality completion of all its objectives. In terms of technical systems and standard formulation, it established 17 sets of standards and specifications, including Industry-University-Research and application-oriented collaborative system and the application of artificial intelligence technology in intelligent terminal applications. In platform construction, it has established an intelligent terminal access platform supporting various devices such as PCs, smart connected vehicles, robots, IoT devices, AR/VR, and a distributed artificial intelligence analysis platform was built to provide robust computing support for intelligent terminals. The project also completed the construction of an artificial intelligence-based smart campus intelligent terminal data analysis engine. Regarding the adaptation of terminal devices and application software, the project accomplished the adaptation of 20 applications and 57 algorithms in fields such as general security, finance, factories, business, and parks, as well as 10 applications and 21 algorithms in areas like healthcare, tourism, education, and e-commerce. It successfully completed the adaptation verification of 219 intelligent terminal software in the fields of PCs, robots, smart connected vehicles, IoT devices, AR/VR, supporting simultaneous adaptation verification for 72 enterprises. In terms of industry applications, it created industrial application demonstrations in areas such as industry, mining, parks, environment, automotive, sports, and border defense. In the aspect of experience promotion, the project established a collaborative research and development and experience promotion center covering an area of 400,000 square meters. This includes one central collaborative research and development and experience promotion center, two collaborative research and development application demonstration parks, and four experience promotion sub-centers. The project organized seven technical exchange meetings, one thematic competition, and seven promotional events, hosting a total of 107 training sessions in 2021 and 2022, with cumulative training exceeding 7,809 participants.
On the day of acceptance, leaders and experts reviewed the results of the project through two stages: on-site review and conference review. The acceptance expert group first visited the collaborative research and development center demonstration park at the Chongqing School, University of Chinese Academy of Science, where they inspected multiple robot joint automatic operations, V2X intelligent driving assistance, smart elevators and other intelligent terminal application scenarios, as well as teaching and training environments. Subsequently, they visited the Purple Light sub-center of the collaborative research and development and experience promotion center and the smart factory demonstration park in Yuzui and the Cloudwalk sub-center located in the Internet Industry Park. They observed intelligent terminal production lines, practical applications of smart factories, as well as research and development achievements and application scenarios in finance, digital human, AR/VR, and more. Following this, at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's intelligent terminal collaborative research and development and experience promotion main center in the Internet Industry Park, the expert group conducted on-site acceptance of achievements and applications in the fields of IoT terminals, intelligent robots, AR/VR, smart connected vehicles, and PCs.
Finally, the acceptance expert group fully affirmed the project results and believed that the project implementation met the requirements of the task book and the bidding documents, and completed the targets agreed in the task book; The project consortium gives full play to the advantages of collaborative research, through technological innovation, built a collaborative research and development and experience promotion center, built a product application verification environment for PCs, smart connected vehicles, Internet of Things devices, robots, AR/VR key user application scenarios, and completed the adaptation verification of intelligent terminals in related fields. It has a good demonstration role in supporting the creation of "Chinese Software famous Park" in our city. The expert group unanimously agreed that the project has completed the project plan tasks, the project management is compliant, and agreed to pass the acceptance.
The project has bridged the industry chain of technology research and development, achievement verification, and promotional application. It has created typical cases for the application and promotion of key software products in relevant regions and industries, playing a strong driving role in the cultivation of intelligent terminal ecosystems, integration innovation, and industrial development. After acceptance, our academy will continue to maintain the long-term operation mechanism of the collaborative research and development and experience promotion center, promoting the cultivation of regional software ecosystems, integration innovation, and industrial development.
