Chaker Tlili gained a Master of Science degree in quantum physics from Elmanar-Tunis University (Tunisia) in 2000, and a Doctor of Philosophy in material science from the University of Paris-XI (France) in 2006. After several postdoctoral stays in Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and Singapore, he became in 2016 an associate professor at Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology (CIGIT), China. He published over sixty papers with over 1,920 citations.
