Lin Yuanchang is a Senior engineerat at the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A talent of "Light of West China". His research primarily centres at Intelligent manufacturing and robot application technology. He has  presided over 28 scientific research projects. He has He presided over or participated in the preparation of six national standards. He has applied for 24 Chinese invention patents. He has published 12 scientific papers, including 9 SCI/ EI papers. He has won the provincial-level and ministerial-level science and technology awards twice.
