Professor Sidong Zeng received his Bachelor degree in hydrology and water resources engineer from Wuhan University in 2009, obtained his Ph.D. degree in hydrology and water resources from Wuhan University in 2014 and was awarded the National Scholarship for Doctoral Studies. He worked as a senior engineer in Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, Changjiang Water Resources Commission from 2014 to 2019. In 2020, he joined Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as the group leader of Smart Watershed Research Center. He carries out long-term research on ecohydrology, water resources management, flood forecast and environmental modeling. He has published more than 70 papers on famous hydrological and environmental journals such as Journal of Hydrology, Water Research and 2 monographs. Moreover, he has applied for more than 20 national invention patents and software. He has also been awarded the National Excellent Quality Management Group (ranked 1/10), the special prize of the excellent quality management group of the water conservancy industry (ranked 1/10), and the excellent paper of the Chinese Water Conservancy Society. Since 2021, he is the Member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association CAS.
