Resume

Chen Qiao, PhD, Associate Researcher, Master's Supervisor, has been engaged in research in geophysics and geological disaster monitoring and early warning for a long time. In response to the engineering geological problems encountered in shale gas drilling and fracturing in Chongqing, a combination of physical model experiments and numerical simulations was used to study the propagation law of ultrasonic waves in shale reservoirs, forming the shale gas drilling wellbore technology. Meanwhile, in the research of soil landslide monitoring and early warning technology, a set of soil landslide disaster monitoring methods based on infrasound arrays has been developed. I have led 29 national, provincial, and local scientific and technological research projects, published 80 papers (including 53 indexed by SCI/EI), authorized more than 10 patents (including 6 invention patents), and obtained 3 software copyrights. I am currently a member of the Chinese Society of Mechanics and a technology project evaluation expert from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau, and Planning and Natural Resources Bureau. In 2021, he was selected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences "Light of the West" Class A Program for Young Scholars in the West.
