Education Background & Academic Experience:
Dr. Wu received his Bachelor degree in Geography from Hubei University, and his Master degree in Ecology from Hubei University, and his Ph.D. degree in GIS from the Chinese University of Geosciences. Between 2006 and 2008, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Earth Sciences at the University of Memphis, USA. He had been working in the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1998 to 2012 as an assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He joined the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012 as a Professor and group leader.
Research Interests:
The driving forces and their effects of reservoir ecological processes in the Three Gorges Areas;
The evolutionary Laws of the ecological factors of the reservoir eco-system;
The evolutionary processes, laws, directions and ecological effects of the reservoir eco-system;
