Huabin Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. After graduation, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow/research scientist in the School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne, Australia. Since the February of 2014, he has been holding a professor position at Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2021, he established the Center of Super-resolution Optics, and has been appointed as the director for this center. His major research areas include near-field terahertz instruments, terahertz spectroscopy and imaging, and atomic force microscopy. He has authored/co-authored ~100 scientific articles published in PNAS, ACS Nano, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, etc.
