Research focus
Green energy: we select the direction of carbon-based photodetectors as a breakthrough, focus on developing cutting-edge technologies for in-space additive manufacturing and organic solar cells, and aim to become a innovation source in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
Intelligent manufacturing: we exam the common key technologies and basic science questions that surround the cross-disciplinary areas of intelligent manufacturing, build up a technology and equipment system for “materials-process-equipment -detection”.
Institutional setting:
The Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing Technology has 7 research branches: Research Center for Micro- and Nanoscale Manufacturing and System Integration, Research Center for 3D Printing Technology, Research Center for Integrated optoelectronic Technology , Research Center for Thin-Film Solar Technology , Research Center for Super-Resolution Optics, Research Center for Phased Array Optics , Research Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage Technology.
Disciplinary Structure
The Institute has doctoral and master’s training programs in two disciplines: Optical engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.
