The research institute has two educational units: the School of Life Sciences and the School of Clinical Medicine of Chongqing University. The College of Life Sciences has a group of senior academic and educational experts, including one academician, multiple members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Hundred Talents Program, members of the Youth Promotion Association, and selected candidates for the "Western Light" program, providing a strong faculty for the development of the college.

Utilizing the strong accumulation of basic research on organ development and regeneration, new material applications, optical imaging technology features, and information intelligence algorithms from Chongqing Research Institute and Chongqing University, we will carry out collaborative cross disciplinary research in science and engineering, with equal emphasis on teaching, research, and production.
