Responsible for the Party building, discipline inspection, supervision and audit, mass organizations, and the construction of innovative culture in the institute, the main responsibilities are:

1. Responsible for the daily work of Party building, including the daily work of the Party Committee, construction of grassroots party organizations, education and management of Party members, ideological and political work, etc.

2. Responsible for the Party construction and restrict corruption and system of punishment and prevention.

3. Responsible for the construction of spiritual civilization and innovative culture of the Chongqing Academy.

4. Responsible for the coordination and management of mass organizations including the labor union, Communist Youth League, and Women's Committee.

5. Responsible for united front work and the service work of deputies to the National People's Congress and members of political consultative conferences.

6. Responsible for scientific communication of the Chongqing Academy (including news publicity, government information, science popularization, public opinion response, information disclosure, etc.), the publication and review of information content on the Chongqing Academy's website, and related work of the Chongqing Academy's spokesperson.

7. Responsible for completing various tasks assigned by the Party Committee.

The Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office is attached to the Party Committee Office, undertaking the routine work of the Discipline Inspection Commission (including the routine work of the Research Ethics Committee), is responsible for the Chongqing Academy's discipline inspection, supervision, audit, and other work, accepts the reporting, charges and appeals of the disciplinary violations of the affiliated Party organizations, Party members and other personnel, and assists the Party construction and restrict corruption and anti-corruption.
